Dear friends, globetrotters, and motorcycle enthusiasts,

Saturday, May 30, 2026, the time has finally come again: Our traditional 40th Explo-Tours Gurkentreffen is just around the corner! We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate this special anniversary with you in the beautiful Berchtesgadener Land.

As always, all participants of past tours are invited, as well as everyone who is gripped by wanderlust and seeking inspiration for future travels. It's the perfect opportunity to reunite, meet new people, and engage in the ultimate exchange of experiences.

Travel Tip: We are located in one of the most beautiful motorcycle regions of the German Alps – with Watzmann views included and the Rossfeld Panorama Road practically around the corner. So be sure to plan time for an extra ride before the meeting officially begins!

What to expect: First-hand Info & Motorcycle Talk

From noon onwards, we'll take you on journeys far beyond the Alps. Get information about our worldwide motorcycle adventures directly from the experts:

• South America: Jürgen Zink and Olaf Neeb (Explo-Tours)
• Southern Africa: Clemens Bail (Zebrafari)
• Asia: Benedikt Urban (Asia Bike Tours) – Learn all about guided tours through the Himalayas, Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia (from Ladakh to Vietnam, Pakistan, and the Pamir). Small groups, epic routes, authentic stories.

Afternoon Program: Travel Presentations in the Hunting Room

Our photo & video presentations begin at 4:00 PM. Get ready for immersive insights and thrilling videos from our fellow riders:

• approx. 4:00 PM: Ruta Salsa – Colombia (C. Schitt-Lühmann and E. Grütters)
• approx. 5:00 PM: Explo-Tours Handover & Program 2026–28 (J. Zink and O. Neeb)
• approx. 5:30 PM: Refreshment Break
• approx. 6:15 PM: Namibia – South Africa and South Africa–Mombasa (Clemens Bail)
• approx. 7:15 PM: Patagonia (Video by Toni Schuler)
• approx. 7:45 PM: Vietnam and Kingdom of Mustang (Benedikt Urban / Asia Bike Tours)
• approx. 9:00 PM: Travel and Motorcycle Chat by the Campfire!

In the evening, we'll end the day the right way: With the legendary campfire gathering! Come by, say hello, have a beer with us, and let's talk about mountain passes, gravel roads, wanderlust, and great stories.

Overnight Stay & Accommodation on Site

Overnight accommodation is available directly on site:

• Camping: On the camping meadow right next to the guesthouse
• Vans & Motorhomes: Space available for some vehicles in the parking lot
• Hotels & Guesthouses: In the surrounding hotels and accommodations (please book in advance and independently!)
